Activities School Age Child Care

The YMCA has many exciting options available for school age children during the school year and summer vacation.

Teen Adventure

Teens ages 11-14 can experience awesome weekly fieldtrips and age appropriate activities designed to turn any boring summer vacation into a fun a memorable adventure. Team building, career exploration, specialty clubs, mini-trips, and time to just “hang out” are all part of this high adventure program. Spend your summer challenging yourself to canoeing trips, kayaking, thrilling roller coasters, high ropes courses, bike riding, and of course a little relaxation with friends. Meet new people and have fun enjoying all the YMCA has to offer and more!

Summer Fun Club

Why not spend your summer vacation at the YMCA?! Kids ages 5-11 can experience all the YMCA has to offer in a full-day program offered at both YMCA locations. Activities include weekly fieldtrips, swimming, sports, games, arts and crafts, specialty clubs, guest speakers, and much, much more! Super friendly and qualified staff work hard to offer an exciting and safe opportunity for all. This program provides a perfect summer program for working parents and gives children a special summer experience to remember. Registration is on a weekly basis so you only sign up for the weeks you need and part time is available!

Kid’s Club Before and After-School

The YMCA Kid’s Club is designed with the working parent in mind. The program provides quality before and after school care at 7 elementary school locations. Kid’s Club provides a safe, supervised environment, in which kids age kindergarten – 5th grade, can participate in a variety of activities, both educational and recreational.

Kid’s Day Out

Kid’s Day Out is a full day school age childcare program offered on “school out” days. Children ages Kindergarten – 12 years will participate in arts and crafts, Family Prime Time, games, swimming, character development activities, and occasional fieldtrips. Feel safe knowing that your children are enjoying their “day out” in a fun, supervised environment.
