Activities Court Sports

Racquetball was invented in 1950 at the Greenwich YMCA in Connecticut by Joe Sobeck, a member who couldn’t find other squash players of his caliber and who did not care for handball. Today, Oshkosh YMCA members and community members partake in racquetball, handball and squash at the Downtown location, home to seven 4-wall courts. The YMCA offers leagues, lessons and open time for players of all ages and skill levels. Court time is available during YMCA open hours and can be reserved by calling the YMCA. Equipment is also available for check out.
