Activities Teen Adventure 2008

Teens ages 11-14 can experience awesome weekly fieldtrips and age appropriate activities designed to turn any boring summer vacation into a fun a memorable adventure. Team building, career exploration, specialty clubs, mini-trips, and time to just “hang out” are all part of this high adventure program. Spend your summer challenging yourself to canoeing trips, kayaking, thrilling roller coasters, high ropes courses, bike riding, and of course a little relaxation with friends. Meet new people and have fun enjoying all the YMCA has to offer and more!

Ages:		11-14 years
Hours:		6:30 AM – 6:00 PM Teens must be on-site by 9:00 AM and not check-out until 3:00 PM. With parent authorization teens have the opportunity to sign themselves in and out on a daily basis. (A new authorization form must be completed each Monday by parent/guardian.)
Locations:		Downtown and 20th Avenue YMCA Locations (Downtown participants will be bussed to and from the 20th Avenue YMCA daily)
Dates:		June 9th - August 29th (5-day program only)
Rates:		5-Day Teen Adventure Member $145/week Program Member $165/week (4th of July rates Member $120/week, Program Member $140/week)

Parent Meeting Dates

Parents and registered participants are invited to join the staff of Teen Adventure for a fun, informational meeting. Kids get the chance to meet staff and see the facility, while parents have the opportunity to ask questions.

Parents/participants who attend the parent meeting will receive a FREE YMCA Drawstring Bag!

Registration Information

Registration for YMCA Members begins March 1st and Program Members March 15th. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. You will receive confirmation of your registration via mail. A $20 deposit per week, per child is due at the time of registration. Deposits will be applied to the weekly rate. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable to other programs. A one week notice is required to cancel a registered week or you will be charged the full fee.

Registration forms are available at both YMCA Front Desk locations or by clicking on the link below. Registration forms will not be accepted without deposit payment. Registration forms can either be dropped off at either YMCA Front Desk location or mailed to the Downtown YMCA at:
