Facilities Locker Rooms

Locker room facilities are available at both YMCA locations. The Downtown and 20th Avenue locations offer locker rooms for men, women, girls and boys. The adult locker rooms offer showers, vanity area and amenities that include shampoo, soap and towel service. Dryers are available in all locker rooms. The Downtown Center’s men’s locker room offers a steam room, sauna and whirlpool. The Downtown Center’s women’s locker room offers a sauna, as well as a limited, private workout area that includes cardiovascular equipment and minimal weight equipment.

Participants and members are responsible for their belongings. The YMCA encourages all locker room users to bring a lock to secure items in the locker. (Locks are not provided, unless a permanent locker service is utilized, see below.) Special needs access is available at both locations.

Unique to the 20th Avenue YMCA, The family locker room offers four-private shower areas for parents with small children and individuals with special needs. The 20th Avenue location also offers small lockers in the hallway, for individuals that need to secure their items, without accessing the physical locker rooms.

Members can rent a racquetball locker at the Downtown YMCA for a nominal, annual fee. Lockers are located near the entrances to the courts. See the Downtown Center Service Center to reserve a locker.

Additional Services

Laundry and permanent Kit Locker Service are available at both YMCA locations for $10 per month/per adult/per location. Daily laundering of workout clothes is included in this fee.
