Affinity Health System has partnered with the Oshkosh YMCA to provide sports medicine and wellness resources at the 20th Avenue YMCA. The Center has a wealth of information, including books, pamphlets, audio and videotapes focused on wellness, injury prevention and general health. A computer terminal provides Web access to the Mercy Medical Center, Clark Family Health Science Library and appropriate sites. Certified athletic trainers and physical therapy staff are available to assist with injuries, rehabilitation and answer questions.
The Affinity resource at the Oshkosh YMCA features the following:

- Monthly health screenings for the public and members of the YMCA.
Do you know your cholesterol levels? How would you rate your overall health? Affinity Health System is now offering The Health Test to members to help them find out just how healthy they are! Through a confidential screening, members can find out their overall health status. To participate, members will have to complete a health questionnaire about their health habits such as smoking, exercise, seatbelt use, family history and cholesterol and blood pressure levels. A healthcare professional will then check cholesterol levels (total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and triglycerides), glucose, blood pressure, and body mass index. Screening results are available within five minutes, in which members will be given recommendations on reducing risk factors and better lifestyle choices. This screening is not a medical exam and is not meant to replace a doctor's exam. To participate in The Health Test, stop by the Affinity Sports & Wellness Center, cost is only $15.
