ADAPTED AQUATICS

Led by students from UW-Oshkosh and Ripon College, this program is for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. The goal of this program is to provide persons with all levels of abilities an opportunity to learn new things or improve existing aquatic skills.

ACCOMMODATING OUR SWIMMERS

  • Adapted Aquatics is wheelchair accessible
  • During the session, swimmers will have use of the entire aquatic facility
  • The session includes playing with stimulating water toys that are appropriate for each age/ability level
  • The instructor ratio is between 1:1 - 1:3, depending on the nature of each participant's ability level

  adapted aquatics availability

The Adapted Aquatics Program is offered on a seasonal basis, but adapted private swim lessons are offered year-round! Contact us to learn more about adapted private swim lessons.

Parent/Guardian Participation
