Childcare & Camps

6 weeks- 6 years

The Y offers 3 conveniently located, state-licensed full-time childcare centers, located at the 20th Ave Y, Downtown Y, and UW-Oshkosh campus. Our centers provide safe and dependable environments for children to enhance their physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth, as well as their developmental skills.

4 years

In collaboration with the Oshkosh Area School District, the Oshkosh Community Y is excited to offer 4-year-old Pre-Kindergarten at both our Downtown and 20th Ave locations. Through play-based curriculum designed around the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards, children will be introduced to Everyday Mathematics and Creative Curriculum for Literacy. Children will also be encouraged to explore in other areas such as art, science, music and movement, health awareness, active play, and much more!

K- 5th Grade

The Oshkosh YMCA is proud to offer before & after school programs at multiple locations, perfect for working parents & busy families. We provide a safe, supervised environment for school aged children to learn and play outside of school hours. 

6 weeks- 7 years

Both the 20th Ave and Downtown Y facilities provide safe, affordable drop-in care for children 6 weeks through 7 years. Parents are free to participate in Y programs and activities while their children are cared for. Child Watch is available to Oshkosh Y members only.

4 years- 14 years

Our day camps welcome kids of all backgrounds to discover who they are and imagine who they can be, with programs that foster lifelong skills, build self-confidence and create lasting friendships.
